Description

Dabornville is a fully refurbished London Victorian terraced house, with a distinctive facade, painted Farrow and Ball ‘Railings’ on the outside with a lavendar-lined tiled front path. Inside is a bright, characterful contemporary home with a strong eclectic, creative feel. Combining a modern open-plan layout with an abundance of personality featuring bold colours and carefully chosen furnishings throughout.

The dark green hallway opens to a double-height space with 5 hanging Parisian brass globe pendant lights inspired by the mid-century prismatic street lights of Paris. From here steps lead down to the bright open-plan kitchen, dining, living room.

Matt-finish dark blue kitchen cupboards wrap around one side of the space, with two full-sized integrated ovens, a fridge and a freezer. There is a large L-shaped kitchen island topped with white quartz composite and brushed gold cupboards which speak to the gold pendant lights and brass cupboard handles. The island has an induction hob and sink within it, with no overhanging extractor fan (making top-down shots easier). Plugs are easily accessible within the island cupboards for appliances. The kitchen space is north-facing, meaning no issues with direct sunlight.

The main space has an abundance of houseplants before opening through bi-fold doors onto a large terrace (same floor tiling in and out to flow through the space), with an outdoor grey corner sofa, armchair and bench and an adjustable-height table.

At the front of the house is a dark red (Farrow and Ball ‘Preference Room Red’) sitting room with a leather sofa, teal colour archairs, a wood burner and upright piano.

Upstairs the property has colourful bedrooms and distinctive bathrooms which provide a versatile collection of backdrops within one home. The owners (who are also industry professionals) can provide, on request, lighting equipment hire and a pre-light service if needed.

Dabornville is a practical and versatile filming location with a downstairs WC making the property well suited to lifestyle, editorial, advertising and film productions seeking a colourful and authentic residential setting.
