Basedot Studio is a 200m² industrial loft-style photo and film studio in Belfast, combining a large purpose-built shooting space with characterful architectural details and several ready-made lifestyle environments.

The studio features high ceilings, exposed brickwork, original steel-framed loft windows and a mix of black and white painted brick, creating a strong industrial backdrop throughout the space. Large windows run along one side of the studio and bring in generous natural daylight, giving the room a soft, atmospheric quality that works particularly well for portraits, fashion, lifestyle and editorial work. Blackout curtains can also be used when full control of ambient light is required.

At the heart of the studio is an 8m white cyclorama / infinity cove, with plenty of shooting distance and space around it for lighting, camera movement and larger crews. The cove works equally well for clean commercial imagery, fashion, product photography, interviews and video production.

The rest of the studio is open-plan and designed to offer contrasting looks within the same location. A dark industrial lounge features black brick walls, leather seating, plants, mirrors and warm practical lighting, while the kitchen and dining area provides a brighter, more contemporary lifestyle setting with red cabinetry, timber shelving and large windows.

Furniture, plants and selected props can be incorporated into shoots, and the open layout makes it easy to move between the cyclorama, kitchen, dining area, lounge and exposed architectural backgrounds without relocating.

Overall, the space has a warm, creative and slightly cinematic industrial feel. Polished enough for commercial productions while retaining the texture and character of the original building.
